The Board of Directors of Wholesome Health Promotion (WHP) has announced the selection of Christian Steve Bernard Fonkam as the organization’s Goodwill Ambassador. Christian is Cameroonian a journalist, TV and radio host currently working with Canal 2 TV in Douala, Cameroon. A graduate of the University of Douala where he studied Communications, Christian has a vast experience in the Cameroonian media landscape where he has worked in various capacities with numerous radio and TV stations (e.g., STV, RTV, Vox Africa, LTM) since 2004. A leading TV presenter, Christian has worked on huge TV productions such as the hugely popular Malta Guinness Street Dance Africa.
A versatile communicator and TV personality, Christian currently hosts a variety of Radio and TV shows in English and French, among them, the popular Abela morning show on Canal 2 English. He also does live football commentaries on the same network.
The choice of the multi-talented Christian reflects WHP’s intent to take its wellness to all segments of the Cameroonian population through an army of dedicated volunteers.
About the Goodwill Ambassador Role
The role of the Goodwill Ambassador is to promote the ideals of WHP, increase public awareness and mobilize local communities about the organization’s mission and vision, disseminate information about WHP’s activities, and help build partnerships with stakeholders, sister organizations and sponsors in Cameroon.
