The unveiling ceremony for the borehole that Wholesome Health Promotion (WHP) donated to the CDC Cottage Hospital in Tiko. The unveiling took place on the 10th of December 2021.

The borehole consists specifically of:
1. A 5000-liter water storage tank that will be connected directly to the hospital’s internal water system to ensure a constant flow of safe water throughout the hospital;
2. Four public-facing taps just outside the hospital premises to ensure that the surrounding neighborhoods also have constant access to safe water without having to come into the hospital grounds.

WHP is also donated the following items to the hospital:

• 3000 nitrile gloves
• 3000 face masks & hand sanitizers
• 30 face shields
• 10 blood pressure cuffs

We would like to extend our gratitude to all of those who made these projects possible, particularly to very generous donors in the Diaspora. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We couldn’t have pulled this off without you! It definitely takes a community to be successful.

Thank you!
