A WHP teamvisited the Buea Town Integrated Health Center on June 6th, 2022, to donate medical supplies  and educate patients of on cholera prevention methods.

The medical supplies consisted of nitrile gloves and blood pressure cuffs, along with cases of bottled water to help with the frequent water shortage at the hospital center.

The cholera awareness talk, which was led by Mojoko Sama, the WHP Training Facilitator, focused on the fundamentals of cholera – what it is, how it is transmitted and what are the common transmitters of the disease, the basic prevention steps and home treatment methods.

The occasion was graced with the presence of the Paramount Ruler of Buea, His Royal Highness, Chief Dr. Robert Esuka Endeley.
